Reliable Engineering for Deep-Sea Conditions
Cinedepth develops pressure-resistant mechanical housings, optical ports, cable penetrators, and sealing systems for underwater imaging, research, and commercial diving operations. Where standard products cannot meet the required depth or pressure rating, we perform project-specific hydrostatic analyses and material selection to deliver dependable systems that minimize operational risk in the field.

Zero-Defect Reliability
About UsOptical & Mechanical Integrity
Refractive-index optimization and dual-stage O-ring sealing for wide-angle optical dome ports and flat-port designs.
Underwater environments combine high static and dynamic pressure with corrosion, thermal shock, and optical distortion. Our engineers optimize housing wall thickness through finite element analysis (FEA), secure sealing integrity with dual O-ring barriers, and verify enclosure safety before every dive using integrated vacuum monitoring. No product is delivered without post-manufacturing validation in a laboratory hyperbaric test chamber.
Scope of Services
- Custom Camera Housing Manufacturing
- Optical Dome & Flat-Port Design
- Pressure-Rated Cable Penetrators
- Hyperbaric Pressure and Leak Testing
Our Engineering Approach
To withstand saltwater corrosion, we combine hard-anodized 6082/7075 aluminum, 316L stainless steel, and Delrin/POM engineering plastics with electrically isolated assembly techniques that prevent galvanic corrosion.
Our standard builds are tested for depths between 50 and 300 meters. On request, we can also perform pressure and leak tests in depth-simulation chambers rated above 300 bar, equivalent to depths beyond 3,000 meters.
Yes. For cinema cameras such as RED, ARRI, and Sony FX models, as well as industrial sensor bodies, we design custom housings and ports in 3D CAD to match the exact dimensions of your camera and lens.
We begin with an electronic vacuum leak test. The assembly is then hydrostatically tested and certified in an underwater pressure tank at a minimum of 1.5 times the intended operating depth.
We provide subsea-grade metal penetrators with O-ring seals, custom resin-potted feedthroughs, or integrated wet-mateable connectors.
Field-Oriented Safety and Quality Control
A single sealing failure in an underwater system can result in the loss of critical equipment. We therefore apply a zero-defect approach from initial design through final assembly.
